Notes
species occurs throughout the eastern United States. In the eastern part of this range, it is found from New York to southern Florida, but in the Midwest, it is not known south of southern Illinois. In addition to its trunks and branch habitats (excluding conifers), it is often found on shaded stone outcrops. It was rare in the ATBI survey (five specimens).
