Notes
There appear to be two species under this name in GSMNP. Males fall readily into two 'species' on basis of compound eye size correlated with level of development of the epiproctal papillar field. Unfortunately, females (which are more abundant than males) cannot be distinguished with any certainty. These were the most abundant psocids in the ATBI survey. They are found on foliage of broad-leaf trees and shrubs, with much of the first spring generation in ground litter.
