Notes
Park Species Detail: Witt (1997) reports this species in areas adjacent to the park.
Russell (1984?) very common to abundant in late fall and early winter, very rare in summer. Best place to observe species is along Ocean Drive, especially after easterly storms.
Favour (1970) reports this species on the 28 December 1969 MDI CBC; observed by Will Russell along Ocean Drive.
Bond (19??) not common winter visitor.
Sullivan (1937): Winter visitor; not uncommon offshore.
