Park Species Detail: per Stephenson, 1961: in the BRCA-Paunsagunt area, this species is found most frequently below the rim in the pygmy conifer zone, although they have been observed in the Pondersa Pine zone above Swamp Canyon and near the head of Red Canyon along Hwy. 12., Park Species Data Source: NCPN master mammal list (Bogan 2000), Bibkey #141330
