Notes
Park Species Detail: Highly Invasive/Belden, 1995: A particularly aggressive species, observed in beach area fronting the York River, and particularly along Route 238./ Gounaris, 2000: Highly invasive, covering a relatively high percentage of the park. It is unrealistic to expect complete eradication of these species. Areas of critical habitats should be kept free of invasive exotics. (see reference for further discussion.) Yorktown: One population was found in an old landfill area adjacent to the southern end of the east tour road. It was also found sparsely distributed within -17 acres of roadside andin small patches within 4 fields. Jamestown: Found sparsely distributed within -2 acres of roadside Green Spring: Found within -3 acres of roadside Colonial Parkway: Found within -18 acres of parkway corridor Neck of Land: Several clumps found along old route 31./, Park Species Data Source: Belden, 1995-Yorktown Unit/York Creek Drainiage; Hobson, 1998-Yorktown Unit/ Cheatham and Wormley Pond Drainages; Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. 1996; Salle, 1972; Gounaris, 2000;Clark, 1998-Colonial Parkway/Jamestown Unit/Yorktown Unit
