Notes
Park Species Detail: See synonym Chrysemys picta picta (TSN #173784) to view additional species evidence. It is unknown whether the eastern painted turtle (Chrysemys picta picta) or the intergrade of C. picta picta and C. picta marginata (midland painted turtle) is present at DEWA. Stein found evidence of the intergrade in 1976., Park Species Data Source: Stein, 1992. NPBIB-42813., Accepted Detail: Hulse et al., 2001. Amphibians and Reptiles of Pennsylvania and the Northeast.
