Notes
Park Species Detail: PM: Spergula arvensis was the name in the original 1925 Jepson Manual; no name change in Hickman 1993 except for recognition of ssp. arvensis. Locality is within the park, but Shepherd Crest at 10,200’ is very unlikely habitat for an early introduction to California from Europe that is known from fields and open areas along the coast and San Joaquin Vly. New Jepson Manual (Ed. 2) treatment still has species occurring only up to 200 m elevation. ID to be checked. Do not include on list but pull record aside for verification. EF: Added as Incomplete Entry From Historic Specimens in ANCS
