Meade stated that this snake should occur in larger streams and rivers throughout OBRI. Taylor et al. observed the snake swimming in the Obed River and Daddy's Creek on several occasions, and described it as being semi-aquatic and found in all types of water environments.; Data Source: Meade, L. 2005.
