Park Species Detail: Bowes et al. (1999) Documented in ANP during 1998; historically present in at least 11 of the 21 ponds in the park on Mount Desert Island. Recently documented at Bubble Pond (1998, J. Le), uncommon in Bear Brook Pond (July 1995, J. Burgess), Eagle Lake (1998, J. Le), and Witch Hole Pond (1995, MDIFW).
Burgess (1995): Present at Bear Brook Pond during July 1995.
Farris (1992) seined from Bass Harbor Estuary during October 1990 to October 1991.
Fuller and Cooper (1946) collected during surveys with seines in Long Pond (here it was abundant) during the summer of 1942.
