Transient (migrant) (Grim 1986). Park is near area of winter residency and in area of rare occurrence (Sibley 2000). Park Natural Resource staff have observed Black-billed magpies year-around and breeding pairs with young in the nearby city of International Falls, MN, over recent years (E.
