Meade did not find this species, but thought it likely to be found in OBRI. Taylor et al. observed a single specimen basking on a rock in the Obed River below Adam's Bridge on 4 Sept. 1979. The latter authors stated that pools in the river may provide the slow-moving shallow, muddy-bottomed waters preferred by this species, thought it is probably uncommon.; Data Source: Meade, L. 2005.
