Park Species Detail: On p. 8 of the Johnson reference (#123052), Table 2 shows 65 observations from park files for the kit fox, and 26 observations for the gray fox. An unknown annotation has the kit fox observations circled, with the note: "Very unlikely. Gray mis-ID'd as Kit." Futhermore, while Johnson documents the kit fox in Table 3 on p. 9 from the results of his scent station surveys, a look at his raw data on p. 28-29 indicates the 'documented observations' to be 'canid track (believed to be kit fox)'., Park Species Data Source: NCPN master mammal list (Bogan 2000), Bibkey #141330
