Welcome to RPRS

National Park Service Research Permit and Reporting System.

The Research Permit and Reporting System (RPRS) is the online system that manages the research application and reporting process for the National Park Service. You can learn more about what RPRS does and why it exists here.

https:// site protections
If you have logged into the Research Permit and Reporting System (RPRS) over the past several days you've noticed a red slash through the https: in the address bar. Don't worry, IRMA is still a trusted site and protections are all still in place. The somewhat convoluted cause extends beyond the RPRS and is being worked on by NPS and DOI IT.

Register Help
If you do not have account, you will need to register. Please note that registration is a two-step process. First, you will need to register with IRMA using the Partner Security Token Service (PartnerSTS). Second, you will need to return to RPRS and provide addition information. Once you have completed step two, you are ready to begin the application process for a research permit or submit an Investigator Annual Report (IAR).
