Occurrence Notes
Smith et al. (2004) found one individual of this species in the park. Armstrong and Adams (1988) also observed this species in the park. Bullsnakes are a potential concern to park staff. Apparently, bullsnakes frequently bite when provoked and their bite usually becomes infected. We often have bull snakes, some of them quite large, in the historic district near or occassionally in the buildings and they frequently attract our visitor's attention. They are great climbers and are often found on rafters or in trees.; Data Source: Smith et al. (2004), Armstrong and Adams (1988)
