Notes
Park Species Detail: Two varieties occur in PA. Var. emersum is found in muddy shores and margins of ponds, streams and rivers and was formerly known as P. coccineum and P. emersum. Var. stipulaceum is found on the edge of lakes, wet meadows, swamps and ditches and was also known as P. hartwrightii and P. nutans. Var. stipulaceum is also a species of special concern in Penna. More study is needed to determine which varieties are present in the Park.
