Park Species Detail: Synonym = Polygonum coccineum. An Idaho Natural Heritage Program, Idaho Conservation Data Center, Element Occurrence occurs at the Carey Wildlife Management Area, near but outside of this Park Unit; included in this comment to note that the Polygonum amphibium community is tracked by the Center, and this plant does occur within this Park Unit (see collections). Habitat in this Park Unit = Generally restricted to foothills in and near the North Unit; may include Huff Creek meadows and Laidlaw Park areas; often associated with riparian zones or mesic sites.
