Occurrence Notes
Likely mis-identified as Rosy Finch (Leucosticte arctoa) by Dorn et al. 1984, Bibkey #57170 and Pils 2002, Bibkey #566848. Voucher listed under L. arctoa is probably L. atrata. Species was not detected during the 2001-2002 NCPN Avian Inventory. However, the following publications suggest the species may occur in the park: Dorn et al. 1984; Wyoming Game and Fish Dept. Wildlife Atlas; Cornell Lab of Orn. 2004; Sibley 2000. Johnson 2003 :Park is within species breeding range, however, appropriate habitat is limited.; Data Source: ANCS+ voucher
