Notes
Park Species Detail: This taxon is composed of two subspecies. Ssp. laphamii has un-notched petals and is a cultivated plant from the midwest. The native eastern subspecies (ssp. divaricata) has notched petals and is found in rich, deciduous woods. Further survey work should be done to determine which varieties are present and whether they are escaped from old homesites in the Park., Park Species Data Source: Updated by William Olson, July, 2003.
