Park Species Detail: Wiegand, 2001b: an uncommon watchlist plant occurring in elevated areas of scour prairie and overwash savanna habitat where soils are well-drained and often dry during the growing season. Narrowleaved sundrops (Oenothera fruticosa) is infrequent, but widespread in scour prairie and overwash savanna habitat upriver from Chain Bridge. It grows in dry sandy substrate, in full sunlight, and sometimes flowers amid false blue indigo. Found at 1 site.
