Park Species Detail: Recorded in field as Plethodon glutinosus complex - a complex of 13 genetically distinct species - virtually indistinguishable in the field. Based on the range map in Conant and Collins (1998) Reptiles and Amphibians Eastern/Central North America field guide, the most likely species to occur at CHPI are P. chlorobryonis or P. variolatus., Park Species Data Source: Tuberville et al. 2005
