Park Species Detail: Lam, 1985:Voucher specimens collected during this survey (May, 1984-May, 1985) and stored at George Mason University herbarium./Dodge, 2000:Vouchered specimen for this species (See Voucher Profile)./ Hamilton, 2005: Voucher specimens probable at George Mason University (GMUF), College of William and Mary (WILLI), and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI)./Lam, 1985: Asimina triloba, Ophioglossum vulgatum and Cornus amomum were associated with the pond near the public beach, the largest of the three ponds in the park,. This pond was characterized by a large population of floating duckweed.
