Occurrence Notes
At the time of this review there are no records of fisher in GTNP from either the NPSpecies evidence counts or the Wyoming Natural Diversity Database (WYNDD 2006). They appear to occur mainly in the northern part of the Yellowstone ecosystem (e.g., WYNDD 2006, Clark et al. 1989, Clark and Stromberg 1987). Since habitat is suitable and relatively continguous with these northern occurrences, fisher could disperse into GTNP.; Data Source: Doug Keinath - Lead Zoologist - Wyoming Natural Diversity Database
