First sight record for Isle Royale, 22 May 1995 (T. Gostomski, D. Soleim), a pair (at least one male, unsure of the sex of the other) were seen off the Gull Islands northeast of Passage Island and again in Rock Harbor south of Scoville Point (Gostomski 1995).; Data Source: Gostomski 1995.
