Species Notes: There are two distinct dorsal color morphs, light charcoal gray and medium brown; allozyme evidence confirms that they are members of a common gene pool (A91GRU01NA). General Notes: Cash does not record subspecies, but Gibbons and Dorcas puts us clearly in the northern range
