A casual fall and spring visitor along the Colorado River from Glen Canyon Dam to Lees Ferry. One bird lingered at Lees Ferry from 19 Sept 1991 to 26 Apr 1994. Besides this long-staying individual, there are only six other records: one at Lees Ferry from 8 Oct to 9 Nov 1992 (C. Pinnock) a specimen taken at RM -11 on 20 Oct 1984 (Kathy Groschupf), one at Glen Canyon Dam on 22 Oct 1993 (A. Clive Pinnock), two at Lees Ferry on 4 Nov 1995 (A. Clive Pinnock), one at RM -14 on 7 Nov 1997 (Christine E. Goetze and Brenda K. Russell), and one at Lees Ferry on 26 Apr 1995 (A. Clive Pinnock). Data source: Gatlin, BP. 2011.
