An erratic winter visitor and spring migrant, with records from the South Rim and Lees Ferry. A flock of 15 was at the El Tovar Hotel on 18 Dec 1919 (H.S. Swarth), 50 were at Lees Ferry on 27 Jan 1964 (R. Scott), a dozen were at the El Tovar on 20 Feb 1939 (Harold Bryant), four were at the El Tovar on 9 May 1922 (Frederick Kennard), and one was at Lees Ferry on 20 May 1992 (John R. Spence).
