Park Species Detail: 2010 west coast ssp designated T. pacificus (AOU Check-list, 7th ed); reported in Columbia River estuary 1806 by the Lewis and Clark expedition, Park Species Data Source: Ek, David. Birds at Fort Clatsop National Memorial United States of America, 04/12/1999. T. troglodytes is the European Winter Wren; ours is now T. pacificus (Pacific wren, formerly winter wren).
