Common Redpoll was first reported in the checklist area by Kathy Eklund, and later photographed by Wallace Keck along the Narrows Road on February 16, 2013 during the Great Backyard Bird Count. This rather large flock of 30+ is the only sighting thus far, as birds do not typically range this far south in the winter.
