Notes
Park Species Detail: This species is far less common in the Kipahulu District than in the Crater District, presumably due to lack of the preferred habitat of the species in the former. They were found in highest densities in the Crater District in closed native scrub and dry forests. In Kipahulu they have been found in open exotic forests of paper bark or guava, and tend to favor forest edges. They are also uncommonly found in native forests farther up the valley., Park Species Data Source: NATUREBIB-17315
