Hossack et al. (2002), Hopkins et al. (1983) and Hansen et al. (1980) all reported detection of this species.

Abundance Notes

Hopkins et al. (1983) reported this species to be rare in the floodplain deciduous woodland and in the Steppe. However, Hossack et al. (2002) reported that this species does not seem rare. The abundance of this species is always unknown because they come out 1 or 2 nights.

Breeder
Hossack et al. (2002) found few breeding sites because of the way this toad breeds. The NGPN had determined that amphibians living within park boundaries are breeding, therefore all Present in park species have a residency of Breeder.
