Park Species Detail: Hamilton, 2004: Small population found at extreme north end of North Beach, bayside; Scotts Point population relocated 2000; both populations treated yearly with herbicide.

Hill, 1986: Introduced, from E Asia. Tree. June. Disturbed sands, shrub succession. Flowers yellow-green. Infrequent to rare on Assateague, seen only at Scotts Point, where it was probably introduced years ago. Frequent weedy tree throughout MD. Family and species not reported by Higgins. MD only.
