Notes
Park Species Detail: Witt (1997) Reports this species in areas adjacent to the park. Russell (1984?) Very common to abundant fall migrant, uncommon in winter, very common spring migrant, common and local in summer. The best places to see these birds are off the Pretty Marsh Picnic grounds, The Bartletts Island landing, and the outer reaches of Bass Harbor. Bond (19??) transient and winter resident, common. Sullivan (1937): transient, common along the coast in spring and fall; occasional in summer.
