Cook and MacDonald (2004b) claim to have captured a single pygmy shrew during NPS inventories. We were unable to verify that voucher specimen but specimens housed at the University of Alaska Museum collected from areas adjacent to the park suggest the occurrence of this species within the park's boundaries.; Data Source: University of Alaska Museum
