Notes
Park Species Detail: Coman (1987, 1981): First Pygmy Shrew reported on MDI was found by Vernon Lunt in 1935; recently obtained specimens on the eastern side of Long Pond, near the lower Breakneck Pond (1972), near west Tremont (1978), and from Degregroire Park (1986); likely not uncommon on MDI. Manville (1942): Specimen taken on 15 April 1935 in heavy spruce and pine woods at the west side of Eagle Lake (V. Lunt)., Park Species Data Source: Coman (1987); Coman (1981); Manville (1942)
