Potentially an annual migrant over the Park (A. Egan, pers. comm., August 2005). On record of 4 birds near Edwards Island, 29 May 1986 (Van Buskirk and Smith 1994). Recorded as Whistling Swan (Olor columbianus) in Johnsson, Shelton, and Jordan 1982. From May to August in 1976, 4 birds (presumably the same group) were seen in various harbors aroud the island (Johnsson, Shelton, and Jordan 1982).; Data Source: A. Egan, pers. comm., August 2005.
