Park Species Detail: Checklist information (abundance) updated 4/9/03 by professional judgement of Bruce Connery, ACAD wildlife biologist. Russell (1984?) has occurred in at least 7 of the last 10 years in late April. 4 were seen at the Trenton flats on 22 April 1970 (many observers) and 2 were seen on 17 April 1979 at Trenton (B. Townsend; MBL 1(1)).. No recent records of the blue morph. Bond (19??) Transient on MDI; rare., Park Species Data Source: Witt (1997)
