Park Species Detail: Favour (1970): 171 observed on 29 December 1962 during the MDI CBC; was recorded at 28 out of 50 feeding stations which were under regular observation on the count day.
Bond (19??) common winter resident; arrives in early fall.
Sullivan (1937) Winter visitor; common in early spring and fall; many seen on 20-31 December 1908 by Lurvey.
