Occurrence Notes
A common permanent resident on upper Lake Mead where it has been confirmed breeding and an uncommon winter resident along the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam. Migrants occur irregularly throughout the year elsewhere along the river. The only two records away from the river are of one seen at the South Rim Sewage Lagoons on 14 May 1983 (Karen Berggren) and another there on 15 Oct 1985 (Dave Karraker). (Phalacrocorax auritus) * Double-crested Cormorant is a common permanent resident on upper Lake Mead where it has been confirmed breeding and an uncommon winter resident along the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam.
